Superdry x princes trust
Creating two custom leather jackets to be auction off for the Superdry x Princes Trust, generating £675.00 for the charity.
The sailor jacket
Inspired by the work of renewed tattooist Norman Collins and the whole 'Sailor Jerry' movement. Katie used traditional tattoos to adorn the back of her first customised jacket. Keeping it simple on the front and only filling a slight feature on the natural panels of the jacket. Freehand drawing the tattoos onto the leather and then meticulously filling the design with tiny polka dots.
Sketched Floral Jacket
For her second customised jacket design Katie kept it simple and free-hand sketched different peonies to the back of the design, using a limited colour palette of black white and silver the mono design was simple and yet made a statement.
The Sailor Jacket was also used on Superdry's social channels to promote the auction and as a blog header with tips on how to customise your own jacket at home.
